The entire GelCare System is completely HEMA-free. It's also HPMA-free in nearly every product — with one exception: the Top Coat. There, HPMA contributes to the long-lasting durability that's essential to our 15+ day promise. HPMA is approved under the EU Cosmetics Regulation and is safely formulated at the concentration used. An increased risk of sensitization exists in principle with all acrylates and methacrylates, not specifically with the Top Coat — which is why the general recommendation applies: for known allergies, test any new nail product on a single nail first.
