One of the main causes of allergic reactions to conventional UV gel nail polishes is the ingredient HEMA. Since we avoid this and other controversial ingredients in our formula, it’s likely that you will tolerate plantPRO better. However, allergies are individual and complex, and they can also be triggered by another ingredient that may be present in plantPRO.

To rule out an allergic reaction, you can perform a patch test. For this test, apply a small amount of the gel polish directly onto your natural nail and leave it on for about 24–48 hours. If skin reactions such as redness or itching occur, you may be allergic to plantPRO. After removing the polish, the irritation should normally subside. If not, please consult a dermatologist.
